Dr William Njuguna

William Njuguna, IMD/PhD, is married to Eva Wangui Njuguna and has seven children. He belongs to the ndi-muceera wa mbari ya mugwe clan of the Kikuyu tribe and practices African spirituality. Dr Njuguna is an internationally recognized integrative medical scientist and an Army of Life Savers Board Advisor. He is also the Founder/President of the African Genetics Neoplasms Foundation, the Founder/Chairman of the Integrative Medicine Society of Kenya (IMSK), the Founder/Director of the East African Centre for IPT (Insulin Potentiation Therapy) & Anti-Aging Medicine in Kenya, a founder of the Nairobi Herbalist Association (NAHA), and an active member of the National Traditional Health Practitioners Association (NATHEPA). He became greatly irritated with traditional oncology after losing his mother through cervical cancer in 2002, after two years of conventional treatment with little benefits, and decided to research further into alternative cancer treatments globally. He eventually joined the International Organization for IPT physicians and became certified as an IPTLD (Insulin Potentiation Therapy Low Dose) practitioner.

Dr. Njuguna was the first healthcare practitioner to be licenced to practice Cellular Medicine in Kenya, which led him to establish the first Cellular Nutritional clinics and became the first alternative medicine practitioner in East Africa. He has also done substantial work on medical cannabis and has been involved in establishing medical cannabis research companies in South Africa, Lesotho, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Malawi, where he has been licenced to
conduct research on medical cannabis and mushroom tissue cultures, and is leading a team of scientists in developing new medical cannabis strains for cancer management and other non-communicable diseases. In addition to IPT, Dr. Njuguna has broad knowledge of herbal and other integrative protocols, having practiced medicine for more than 16 years, and has been very actively involved in the integrative medicine community, including the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the European Academy for IPT, and the International Organization for IPT. Dr. Njuguna is also a lecturer and wellness consultant in Africa, Europe, and the USA, specializing in integrative oncology, cellular nutrition and herbal medicine. He hosted East Africa’s first Congress of Integrative Medicine in Nairobi, Kenya, in June 2024, and has presented his work to Kenya’s National Assembly, the Parliamentary Health Committee and The Senate.
